Tingle's Quests

Outset Island's Course

When you wander on the beach, Tingle will ask you to play a game. First, he wants a pool, so jump into the water pool behind Link's Grandma house. Then, he asks you to climb down the ladder that nobody ever uses, so go to the big tower and climb down the ladder going into the sea. Next, he talks about a big rock on a top, so climb the hill leading to the Fairy Woods and climb on top of the big rock. Finally, he asks you to jump down the suspended bridge, so get close to the edge where the bridge used to be and jump! As a reward, you'll get the Hand-me Down Tingle Tuner: Knuckle's hotline for buying things!

Windfall Island's Course

On Windfall Island, Tingle will suggest another game. First, he'll ask you to go to a mailbox, so go to it and look inside with the L trigger. Then, he asks you find three benches, the first one is by the luxury mansion (climb on it), the second one is past Zunari's shop, and the third one is in front of the brick house. To find the hidden rupees, use the GBA to wander around the place and press A when you see a question mark. Look for a second question mark, and then Tingle will want to take his revenge on the jail. Using the GameCube, take Link in front of the jail door and use a Tingle Bomb. As a reward, you'll find 20 rupees inside a pot!

Tingle's Statues

Five statues are hidden inside invisible treasure chests in the five main temples.

Forbidden Woods

Jump inside the teleportation vase to reach the 4th floor, then drop all the way down to the first basement. Go out west, follow the path towards north-west (towards the big flower) and open the door north. Jump on a small ledge to the right, and use a Tingle Bomb on the marked spot on the GBA's map. Open the treasure chest to find the Forbidden Tingle Statue.

Dragon Roost Cave

Jump inside the teleportation vase, then drop down on the lift platform. When it's at the bottom, go east, climb the ladder and open the door north. Use the Grappling Hook to swing across the room and place a Tingle Bomb on the marked spot on the GBA's map. Open the treasure chest to find the Dragon Tingle Statue.

Tower of the Gods

Go ahead to the room with the lift platforms and climb on the third one. From here, jump on a fixed platform and use a Tingle Bomb on the marked spot. Open the treasure chest to find the Goddess Tingle Statue.

Earth Temple

Go down to the first basement. In the room with the hanging bridge, use the Deku Leaf to fly east towards a suspended platform. Go to the corner and place a Tingle Bomb in the middle. Open the treasure chest to find the Earth Tingle Statue.

Wind Temple

Go straight ahead to the third room with the wizard in it. Drop down to the bottom of the room and use a Tingle Bomb on the marked spot on the GBA's map. Open the treasure chest to find the Wind Tingle Statue.

Now go to Tingle Tower. You'll notice a blue Tingle surrounded by the five golden statues. Climb the ladder and talk to the white Tingle. He'll give you 50 rupees for each statue, and 500 rupees once you've collected them all!

Tingle's Legend

Five invisible pages are scattered around the second floor of the Tower of the Gods. They can be found in any order. Starting from the room with the light leading to the 3rd floor:

Page 1
Go west twice, use the Grappling Hook on the bar and climb on it (inside the GBA, Tingle will say that the page has been found)

Page 2
Go north then east. Jump on the two platforms in the middle and look east. Tingle will show you a spot, jump towards it to get the page!

Page 3
Go north twice, climb the block and fly north-west towards the golden structure which emitted the rays. Step on Tingle's symbol to get the page

Page 4
Go east, then south, destroy the pillar using a bomb and walk on the symbol

Page 5
Go east twice, then follow the left path (don't climb the stairs) and stand on the symbol

Now go back to the main room, and using the GBA, walk Tingle on the + around the room to learn his story...
