This quest starts at the Hateno's Ancient Tech Lab, where Ms. Purha asks you to take a picture of her, then she tells you about the other pictures in your album. Go back Lady Impa's house in Kakariko Village and show these photographs to her. She entrusts you the mission to find one of these spots represented on the pictures...

Memories in Breath of the WildMemory 1 "Subdued Ceremony" - Photo 1 - Central Hyrule

Pikango's hint: At Woodland Stable, talk to the painter who says that the picture represents the stage where knighting ceremonies used to take place south of Hyrule Castle.
From the Wetland Stable (or the Kaya Wan shrine), take a horse with you, cross the Rebonae Bridge, then look at your map and dash westwards to a small plaza surrounded by water. The cloud of the memory is located at the centre of this plaza: the Sacred Ground Ruins.
You remember the moment when Princess Zelda appoints you "her appointed knight" during a "ceremony of legend" with the Champions, a little reluctantly and sad.

At Rito Village, on Revali's Landing, you remember a moment when Revali used to boast about his flying techniques and his ability to create wind currents.

Pikango's hint: At the Riverside Stable, the painter says Lake Kolomo is located to the west from here and that there is a forest on the west side of it.
Travel to the Great Plateau Tower and glide northwards towards a pond. Walk along the bank of this pond on the west side, then when you see a stone headland on your left, look at the light circle located behind it.
You remember a moment with Zelda when she talks about the Divine Beasts and her intention to go visit Daruk at Goron City.

At Goron City, while talking with the boss and looking at the Daruk's portrait digged in the rock, you remember a moment when the Champion is training with his Divine Beast when Death Mountain starts to spit rocks, which is quite unusual.

Pikango's hint: At the Tabantha Bridge Stable, Pikango recognizes the Ancient Columns on the picture and says that they stand after the Tabantha Great Bridge, on top of a large cliff to the south that you need to climb.
Travel to the Tena Ko'sah Shrine (Ancient Columns) if you already found it, otherwise to the Tabantha Tower, fly southwards and follow the path southeast (or from the stable on foot). When you take note of a group of columns, head to them and go east. The bright cloud is in front of the shrine.
You remember a moment when Zelda tries to get in this shrine, then you arrive, so she gets angry because she wants to get by by herself.

In Gerudo Town, after bringing the Thunder Helm to Riju at the palace, you remember a moment when Urbosa is taking care of Princess Zelda and tells you about what your friend was going through at that time.

Pikango's hint: At the Gerudo Canyon Stable, the painter says that it looks like the bazaar to the southwest from here.
Travel to the Wasteland Tower (in the Gerudo region) and glide eastwards towards the Kara Kara Bazaar. Go to the eastern bank of the oasis and touch the pink bright cloud.
You remember a moment when you defend Princess Zelda as she's being attacked.

Pikango's hint: In the southeast of Goron City, after freeing Yunobo???, talk to Pikango who says that this view of the castle and the Great Hyrule Forest can be seen from southeast. He adds that there's some high ground north of the Woodland Stable with an incredible view.
Warp to the Forest Tower and glide eastwards in the mountains. When you zoomes the map, you can see to the west of the Goronbi Lake a dotted circle, head to this place where the bright could is. You can also go from the Eldin Tower if you have the Goron outfit and head westwards while walking south of the lake.
You remember a moment with Zelda when she asks you to be more careful after a though battle.

Pikango's hint: At the Serenne Stable, the painter says that it's about the north side of Hyrule Castle, across the castle moat, southeast from here.
From this stable (or the Monya Toma Shrine), head southeast, towards Hyrule Ridge (Salari Hill) and locate the luminous cloud near a tree.
You remember a moment with Zelda when she talks about flowers and their uses, she worries about endangered species and particularly Silent Princesses. Then she has fun with a frog.

At Zora's Domain, after receiving the Zora Armor from the king and talking with Muzu and Prince Sidon, you remember a moment when Mipha is looking after your wounds thanks to her healing powers and promises you to always support you.

Pikango's hint: At the Highland Stable, Pikango recognizes the bridge and says that this place could be the northeast shore of Lake Hylia, possibly Scout's Hill or east of Scout's Hill.
Travel to the Bosh Kala shrine (near the Proxim Bridge), then go south and climb the Scout's Hill. Glide east across the river, where you can see a large tree, then look at the pink light close by.
You remember a moment with Zelda when you were practicing with your sword and during which the princess says that you're following your father's footsteps and that the Master Sword had adopted you.

Pikango's hint: At Lurelin Village, on a small mound east of the village, the old man says that it's Hyrule Castle, more precisely the surrounding cloisters.

You remember a moment with Zelda and the King of Hyrule when the latter reproaches her daughter for being too much interested in relics and Guardians and not meditate enough. The princess is upset to disappoint him and promises to do her best to be up to her task.

Pikango's hint: At the East Akkala Stable, the painter says that there is a source west from here, in North Akkala Valley.
From this stable (or the Katosa Aug shrine), head westwards, and down below the field, you can see a small lake. Get down in this lake and touch the pink cloud to remember...
You remember a moment with Zelda in this fountain telling you about the seal power, but unfortunately Zelda doesn't feel anything about this power.

Pikango's hint: At the Outskirt Stable, Pikango says that this horse statue is at the Sanidin Park Ruins, on Safula Hill to the northwest of here.
In the southeast part of Hyrule Ridge, north of the Safula Hill, the Sanidin Park Ruins can be found. You notice the statue of the horse from afar, the glowing cloud is just beside...
You remember the day before Zelda's 17th birthday. You are riding your horses, her on her white horse, and she tells you about the three springs especially the Spring of Wisdom on Mount Lanayru which only allows people over 17. So she decides to go there the following day hoping that something will happen.

Pikango's hint: At Kakariko Village, after showing him a picture of the fairy fountain, the painter says that it's Mount Lanayru and Naydra Snowfield where this gate lies in its west part.
Warp to the Ta'loh Naeg shrine (Kakariko Village), follow the way towards northeast and cross the forest. At the intersection, go right to the West Gate of Lanayru Road. Keep on going straight ahead, go along the Lanayru Promenade and once arrived to the "Lanayru Road - East Gate", you notice a pink bright cloud in front of the columns of the picture.
You remember a moment with Zelda and the Champions, where you witness the awakening of the Calamity.

Pikango's hint: At the Wetland Stable, the painter says that this picture shows the forest northeast to the Bottomless Swamp on the other side of the river.
From the Wetland Stable (or the Kaya Wan shrine), cross the river and head south into a forest. The cloud of the memory is located more or less in the centre.
You remember a moment when Zelda and yourself are escaping from Hyrule Castle because the Guardians and the Divine Beasts turned on you. Zelda is desperate that the seal didn't work and thinks that it's her fault if the Champions and her father are dead.

After finding the 12 memories linked to the pictures, go back to Impa at Kakariko Village and talk to her. According to Zelda's instructions, she shows you one last picture.

Memories in Breath of the WildMemory 17 "Zelda's Awakening"

So you have to find a field with dead Guardians, a few trees and some water. It's probably one of the first places you visited after leaving the Great Plateau. Return to West Necluda, near the Dueling Peaks Stable the Ash Swamp is located, which correspounds to the landscape on the painting. Between the two southernmost ponds, you can see a bright light near a leaning Guardian.
You remember the moment when Guardians are invading the field and attacking you and Zelda. At the moment when the princess stands against them to protect you, her sealing power awakens at last and the Guardians are deactivated. Unfortunately you are seriously wounded, so Zelda asks two members of the Sheikah tribe to take you to the Shrine of Resurrection.
Next, you hear Zelda's voice saying that she's waiting for you at Hyrule Castle to defeat Calamity Ganon.

Memories in Breath of the WildMemory 18 "The Master Sword"

You can see Zelda entrusting the Master Sword to the Deku Tree. She wants to leave a message to Link but the Deku Tree suggests that she simply tell him herself when he returns.
