Tri Force Heroes walkthrough

Hinox Mine

If you own the Kokiri Clothes, choose them, otherwise the Big Bomb Outfit is also useful.

Stage 1

If you are wearing the Kokiri Clothes, pick up the Bow and have the doppels pick up a Boomerang.

Take control of a Link with a Boomerang, throw the item at a bomb flower on the right or left, then throw this bomb near the cracked block. Next throw the Boomerang at the orb on the other side of the gap and some stairs will appear. Climb these stairs together, then make a totem with the two Boomerang-using heroes and place it to the far north, at the centre. Next, switch to the Bow-using Link, shoot an arrow at the left bomb flower, quickly fire an arrow at the right one, then lift the totem and quickly throw the Boomerang at the orb in the middle so that all three orbs are activated at the same time! A lift will then appear. Step onto this lift, then step off more to the north and stand on the Triforce gateway.

Stage 2

Have the three heroes jump through the hole to make them land in a minecart which starts to move. During the journey, throw your Boomerang at a bomb flower to the north, then throw it at the cracked block, which will reveal an orb. To win 50 rupees, during the next lap, make a totem and throw your Boomerang at the purple rupee. Next make a three-Link totem, stand on the edge of the minecart and throw the Boomerang at the orb, which will move part of the track. Step off when the cart stops and stand on the Triforce symbol to go to the next stage.

Stage 3

Have the three heroes get into the minecart, then throw your Boomerang at the blue lever on the left, which will move part of the track. Next, when the minecart is on the eastern side, throw your Boomerang at a bomb flower on the left and throw this bomb towards the torch to the left, which will activate an orb. As soon as the minecart is on the northern side, throw the Boomerang at a bomb to the north, then throw it at the torch to the north, which will activate another orb. Next, totem up with the Bow-using Link, then when the minecart is on the western side, fire an arrow at the bombs to the right to activate the last orb. (You can keep the Y button pressed to draw your Bow and fire faster.) Step off when the cart stops and stand on the Triforce gateway to go to stage 4.

Stage 4

Have the three heroes jump into the double minecart which leaves immediately, whereas a hinox is looking at you in another minecart... If you play single-player, get prepared for a rough fight! First place a Link on the right edge of the minecart, another one on the left edge and the last Link between the two carts so the teammates don't risk to lift each other. Next, you have to pick up the bombs thrown by the hinox and send them back at him until he calls to another hinox. Also think about grabbing hearts on the external edges of the arena. Now you have to deal with lots of bombs, so stand on a part of the minecart to be able to move to the other side when there are too many bombs. Keep on sending the bombs back to beat a hinox, then the second one at last. Phew! Step off the minecart by the left side, then put the heroes on the Triforce. As usual, walk up to the chests and choose one to get a new material. Level completed.

Back in the castle lobby, leave the castle and talk to the little girl who should be there. She talks about a book "Journeys in the Drablands" and says she only has number 6. Head to the village and talk to the clown on the right. His name is the Great Tripini and he tells you about SpotPass. You can also visit Madame Couture to buy a new outfit if you have the required materials and rupees.
